Information and Products to Enable the Internet Marketer

One of the issues I have struggled with during my venture into Internet Marketing is writing. A lot of Internet Marketing involves writing – creating information products, article marketing, blog posts, auto-responder text, etc. And I have had a major case of writer’s block for several years now. As a child, I loved to write. I used to write short stories and poetry. I even started a novel in 6th grade, and wrote the first 6 chapters! But sometime during high school and college, the joy of writing seemed to leave me – I think because I had to write in a very dry way about boring topics. So, here I am, venturing into a new (hope-to-be) career that involves tons of writing. Ugh!
So, I have been looking for resources to help me with this. I have recently purchased a few eBooks that I hope to help me. Once I work my way through, I will post a review for each of them. The guide I am working through right now is pretty good so far. It is written by Jimmy D. Brown, titled "31 Day Guide to Article Marketing." In this guide, Jimmy teaches you how to write articles for your online business, including how to write your byline, or resource box (particularly a good call to action). I am only on Day 3 so far, but I wanted to let people know about it because it is part of Jimmy D. Brown’s List & Traffic membership site, and Part 1 is only available until August 30, 2009. Part 2 is September’s offering. The List & Traffic membership is only $10 per month, and offers a new comprehensive how-to guide each month. If writing articles has you stumped, try out this membership for at least the next 2 months (to get both parts of the guide), and see what it can do for you. Of course, the guide is only useful if you are willing to put what you learn to work, but if you are willing to do the work, and are having the same struggles as I am, I think this could help move you forward.
I will be adding links to my articles once I get them written and out on the web, so you can watch my progress. Feel free to leave feedback and questions below.

Have you noticed all the 30 Day challenges going on recently? I just caught up on Tiffany Dow’s 30 Day Jobless Journey – the morning of Day 29! If you would like to review it, check out Tiffany’s blog – she started on July 24th. She took a month off to re-evaluate her business and to work on losing weight – two goals I can certainly relate to.
Then we have the yearly 30 Day Challenge, led by Ed Dale and Dan Raine. The Challenge officially started on August 1st, 2009, but it’s not too late to jump in – I just did today.
If you haven’t started building your list, or aren’t happy with your results so far, you will want to check out Bob Jenkins’ 30 Day Autoresponder Challenge. Bob will take you through the steps of setting up your autoresponder and squeeze page to build your list. I am currently adding another autoresponder series for an existing site. Within the first 3 days, I could see that I will be going back and making some changes to my existing autoresponders.
I was already thinking of putting together my own 30 day plans for a few goals that I have, both personal and professional. The challenges I mentioned above will help me with my professional goals. How are your professional goals? Need some help? Some motivation? Some direction? If so, I challenge you to sign up for one or more of these challenges and get your business plans moving! I will be posting my experiences on this blog. Come join me and let me know how you are doing.

Welcome to my new blog. I moved servers earlier this year, and finally freed up some time to get things up and running again. I plan to be a little more regular in writing blog posts, both here and on my other blogs and lenses.
I have been gathering information and tools to help all of us become better marketers, regardless of the niche(s) we have chosen.
Stayed tuned as I get my site together.
